Our Youth Ministry Program provides multiple programs for the youth of our congregation to grow spiritually and become faithful disciples in the modern world. Our Outreach ministry also includes programs for the youth of our neighborhood and community.

Sunday School for all ages -10:45 Sundays, September - May.

Confirmation Class for youth 7th-9th grade - Wednesdays, September - May. Confirmation is a 2-½ year program that includes studies in the Bible, Luther's Catechism, servants at worship and service projects.

ASPIRE - a new after-school tutoring program helping children 4th-6th grade with their homework and offers basic tutoring.

Campfirmation - a week long camp in Prescott for the Confirmation class. This camp includes youth from more that a dozen Arizona Congregations.

Tirosh - a program from the Arizona Cursillo Community designed for High School Youth. This three day, two-night event is held annually around MLK weekend at First Ev. Lutheran Church and it includes youth from many Arizona congregations.

My Father's House - a program from the Arizona Cursillo Community designed for Junior High Youth. This two day, one night event is also held annually at First Ev. Lutheran Church and it includes youth from many Arizona Congregations.

Confirmation age youth and above are encouraged to participate in our worship service as readers, acolytes and Holy Communion assistants. Grade school children are introduced to worship leadership as acolytes.
